I intend to run this years trip on Fri 10 - Sun 12 July

The weekend consists of:

Friday: arrive, meet and greet, followed by a night paddle (2.5 miles) up the main River and back along a backwater in the dark. Meet the bats.

Saturday: Ferry boats to Oundle Boat Club, paddle back to Yarwell (8 miles) with 6 weirs and backwater excursions. BBQ and games in the evening.

Sunday: pack-up and return to Thurlby for the Sunday session.

Campsite details can be found at: www.yarwellmill.co.uk PLEASE VISIT THEIR WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD THE BOOKING FORM

YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS THIS YEAR

This weekend is ideal for juniors who have never experienced a river trip or the more experienced paddler who like to explore the backwaters. Grade 1 river for the majority of the trip.

If you are borrowing club kit for the Yarwell weekend the costs are £5 juniors and £10 adults. It must be returned to the lake for the Sunday afternoon session. Suggest you collect on Thursday 9th during Paddlepower session. Dynamos may not be removed until session finishes.
